About Us
We were very fortunate to begin our landscaping career working on a beautifully designed project in Del Mar at the world famous L'Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa.
This wonderful project, combined with the small town atmosphere of Del Mar in the mid 70's, led us to quickly discover the truth in the old saying; "The best advertising is word of mouth." Throughout the past 25 years we have continued to work on many landscape projects in Del Mar, La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, and Encinitas. Our design-install projects have received industry recognition and Shipping trucklandscape awards. We received a San Diego Architect's "Orchid Award" for our Industry Park theme. This beautiful design included ponds, waterfalls, and large tree lined streams.
In 1979 we started our first tree nursery at the Knorr Candle Factory on Camino Del Mar in Del Mar.
We soon found we needed more room and in 1981 we moved our nursery to Fallbrook and began designing and installing landscape projects throughout the North County area. We installed Rancho Santa Fe Park, part of the Old Butterfield Stage Line, and Mission San Luis Rey, the largest of the California missions, in Oceanside.
Now our focus is garden art! We have transformed our nursery into a huge outdoor showroom to display all of our beautiful zen garden pieces.
